What is ConnochaetOS Linux?

ConnochaetOS (formerly DeLi Linux) is a fully free GNU/Linux distro for x86 computers with limited resources, based on Slackware and Salix OS. ConnochaetOS ships with free (libre) software only and removes proprietary software and binary blobs from its upstream sources, including the Linux kernel. The repo consists of a Slackware and Salix repo mirror, except the non-free parts. Since ConnochaetOS is designed for computers with limited ressources it is available for x86 32-bit only.

ConnochaetOS 14.2 New Features and Improvements

ConnochaetOS 14.2 is based on Slackware and Salix 14.2. As always it contains only free/libre software as defined by the Free Software Foundation (FSF). We are now using our own deb-lobbed Linux kernel, named "kernel-free" based on the de-blobbing mechanism done by Debian GNU/Linux. ConnochaetOS 14.2 contains:

1. The de-blobbed Kernel Linux 4.4.19
2. IceWM 1.3.12
3. Iceweasel 45.3.0
